Cancellation Terms

Prices, Reservations & Payment

Metta Journeys guarantees that our published trip prices will not change. Our prices are in US dollars.

To reserve your trip, we require a non-refundable deposit of US $1,000 per person. The balance of your payment is due 100 days prior to departure. If you are booking your trip within 100 days before the trip begins, the price of the entire trip is due and payable to confirm your booking.

To confirm your reservation, you must complete, sign and return a Traveler Information Form and an Acknowledgement of Risk, Release and Indemnity within 14 days of receipt of your deposit.

Cancelling Your Trip

Should you need to cancel your trip, we will refund your payments as follows:

More than 100 days prior to the trip Full refund less the $1000 non-refundable deposit
61-100 days prior to trip 75% refund
31-60 days prior to trip 50% refund
30 days or less prior to trip No refund


Cancellation Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.

Cancellation by Metta Journeys

All departures are guaranteed, with some dates subject to a minimum number of travelers (excepting only cases of force majeure, which could include any major world event that adversely affects international travel patterns and other circumstances beyond Metta Journeys’s control). Should the minimum number of passengers not be met, Metta Journeys will offer one of the following options: modify the services of the original program to accommodate a smaller group or offer an alternative program. Should no alternative be suitable, Metta Journeys will offer a full refund of all monies received. In such a case, refund of payments received by Metta Journeys shall constitute full settlement. Metta Journeys cannot assume responsibility for any loss incurred on account of non-refundable air tickets.
